Progress On Le Thesis

Le Thesis has turned a corner. It's not done yet, but it's turned a corner all the same. Tonight, I just finished and sent off to the I.N.P.O.D. the last of the five main body chapters. All that remains now: 1) continue ongoing revisions; 2) finish writing the Introduction; 3) write the Conclusion; and 4) add all the frills -- maps, score samples, song texts, appendices, what-have-you.

But the main body, the main argument of Le Thesis, she is done!

Aw yeah. I think I'm going to take a little break before I do my Hebrew homework.

Congratulations, Pony! The main argument is the hard part. Everything else is just tidying up.

Thank you! I've already noticed that the introduction has poured out much faster than anything else -- it's actually three-quarters done already. The conclusion shouldn't take too long, either.

Oh drinks on me! Wonderful news, FP, wonderful! You've gotta be thrilled and probably about ready for a short, well-deserved break before you tackle the intro and end to Le Thesis.

Actually, the intro is about three-quarters done. It's not hard -- half of it is "why does the world need yet another scholarly work on the Holocaust," and the other half is methodology. Goes down like lemonade.

Late as usual, but: Congrats FP! The hard part is behind you. I know that has to feel good. :-)

Feels great. I'm powering through the introduction right now, and it's going down like lemonade. I think Le Thesis just might be finished on time.

BElated congrats! I haven't been much around, and I am catching up quite slowly, so double congrats in the progress of Le Thesis and the four year tuition offer, which seems an extremely appealing opportunity ...except it being in Chicago, but that's me, you seem to love the city despite the cold, so go you! the year sems to be shinning !:-)

Btw, are you of the fencers on your icon? :-)

Thank you! I'm now one chapter away from having the whole thing complete in first draft at least. I'll work on the conclusion today, for sure. Chicago is just the greatest thing. Cold doesn't bother me -- it's colder in Grad School Town -- and it's really the best place for the sort of thing I want to do.

I am not in that icon. I got it from a journal called "Martial Icons," and a very nice person named
