Cute article. I'm so glad to find our elected officials are sacrificing for the greater good. :>) However, knowing guys as I do, they probably couldn't be happier living in upscale squalor, eating cold cereal, Chinese take-out and not making their beds. Kind like being back in a dorm.
I know, really. Just when you think that the life of power and privilege has sucked all the soul and life out of our elected representatives in Washington, you read something like this.
And you realize that the laws of the most powerful nation in the world really are being made by frat boys.
That sounds about like EVERY college apartment I ran into, frat or no. (Though come to think, some of mine were a bit better equipped in the fridge department...)
Actually, it IS good to know that they're not bunking in high-end digs. I wonder if the same can be said for how the Republicans are living?

Now there's something to ponder.
Once when my boys were having a 'body noise' contest, I asked my husband when they would grow out of it. He said, 'never'. I'm finding that's true.
And in a few years they would be doing the same, I fear. Not the body noise contest, though who knows? :-)
