Warning!

Shamelessly nicked from lcohen:

If you think you know me well enough to respond to this, what warning label would you slap on me before letting me leave the factory house?

It's not exactly a warning, but: 'Ethnomusicologists do it to music!'

The music you're listening to, is that from Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet?

Yes, indeed. I really like that song, and I think it fits more perfectly with the movie than do most movie theme songs. The bridge section is somewhat uninspired, but the main theme and the B section are brilliant, especially with Eugene Walter's original text. I thought the kid they had singing it did a fantastic job, too. He has one of those lovely voices that isn't fully developed, but you can see hints of what it will become as he ages.

What is a youth?
Impetuous fire.
What is a maid?
Ice and desire.

It's been years since I heard that song but I still remember. It's lovely.

"The world wags on."

Oops, got sidetracked by the R&J song comments.

A warning sign for Pony?

Not afraid to speak her mind.

Small, measured doses of the Pony are probably best at first until you build up a tolerance.
