Itty Bitty Request

I'll post about Philadelphia and The Wedding later, promise. But first, the abovementioned itty-bitty request.

Little Sister Pony called a couple of hours ago to say that Mom Pony was feverish and vomiting and that she was driving up to work her Licensed Medical Practicioner mojo on her. This, by the way, consists of calling Mom Pony's doctor and possibly a trip to the emergency room. The current best guess, and I don't know who this guess comes from, is that it might be Lyme Disease. Little Sister Pony said she'd keep me updated because she knows that the Pony Parents will be too distracted to do so. Which is why she called in the first place, actually.

So. . . could everyone please send some good vibes out to Mom Pony? Little Sister Pony feels there's no cause for excessive alarm, but it is Mom Pony, after all. Good vibes couldn't hurt.

Here's hoping it just turns out to be a random bug and not Lyme!!! We had a scare here with a big bug bite on DD1's leg a couple months ago and it was not fun. Keep us posted.

By the way, there doesn't happen to be any Sacred Harp singing in Chicago this weekend, does there? I'll be downtown the whole weekend, but if there is a sing, it seems shameful to be there and miss it.

Thanks. I shall have people sing for Mom Pony tomorrow evening in Hyde Park.

This weekend. . . let's see, this is the fourth Sunday, so there's no citywide monthly. I don't think there's a northside singing on Sunday, but you can always call the Harp Line to make sure: (773) 276-HARP.

Thanks for the pointer. I ended up having no time to do anything other than the conference and hang out with my kids, so if anything happened, I didn't really miss it anyway:) We will make it out there one of these years for a sing, especially now that some of have been to Chicago and seen what a cool city it is!
