I voted today!

I didn't see Obama there, which was probably a good thing. It meant that the polling place wasn't clogged up, and my friend and I could get in and not have too long of a wait for a booth. Seems that Illinois offers both pen-and-paper ballots and touchscreen ballots. I got the regular pen-and-paper one, but I heard an election worker giving one lady instructions on how to use the touchscreen.

We didn't get stickers, but we got warm fuzzy feelings anyway.

I voted too. I did get a sticker. The old man standing next to where you submitted your ballot was giving them out. Instead of handing it to me, he stuck it on my shirt pocket. Now look down at your own shirt and think about what your shirt pocket covers... I was pretty stunned, but then I figured the poor old man was probably about 100 and probably didn't have a clue...maybe couldn't even see where on my shirt he stuck the sticker. So I said nothing and went along my way. Interesting start to the day though...

There does come a time after which little old men really aren't responsible for what they do. Most men seem to think they've reached it sooner than they really have, though.
