Today In Chicago

We have: A little sprinkling of snow. Looks kind of like someone dusted the ground with confectioner's sugar like a cake.

We do not have: A junior senator, apparently. The Senate has declined to accept Roland Burris's credentials and turned him away from the chamber. Oh, Blagojevich.

Isn't there some sort of state statute that says the governor is required to be corrupt in Illinois? I'm pretty sure there is, you should look into it.

I was kind of surprised that Blagojevich was reelected. When I was in Macomb everyone was bitching about him and pretty sure he was crooked, just lacked the 'real' proof even though he was linked to so many scandals.

My theory is an alien device implanted in the governor at his inauguration that shoots corruption rays into his brain.

I wasn't actually in Illinois for his re-election, so I don't know how that went down.
